The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JDB3250W Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a factory-assembled Frame F circuit breaker with a protective molded case and non-adjustable trip elements. This circuit breaker is used in a variety of low-voltage distribution applications for fast-acting protection against circuit overloading and against short circuits. This type of circuit breaker comes without line or load terminals, which must be ordered separately, and it has a 3-pole design that is suitable for both 1-phase and 3-phase applications. It is HACR rated for use in air-conditioning, refrigerating, and heating applications, and it is also designed for use in reverse feed wiring configurations.
The JDB3250W Molded Case Circuit Breaker has a continuous current rating of 250 Amps that is suitable for 600 Volts AC/250 Volts DC applications, and it offers a maximum interrupting rating of 35 kAIC. It comprises a non-interchangeable trip unit, an operating mechanism, and a frame. It is a temperature-sensitive device, and it is rated for use at a temperature below 40 degrees Celsius, and above this limit, it will carry a load below the nominal rating and therefore it must be calibrated for use at higher ambient temperatures. The JDB3250W is designed for use at 0 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, and it can be used at an altitude of up to 1829 meters without de-rating. The JDB3250W is designed to meet the IEC, UL, BS, and AS standards, and it has approximate dimensions of 105 x 254 x 104 millimeters, with a net weight of 5.7 kilograms.
