The Eaton JDB3200 Series C circuit breaker has a NEMA Cutler-Hammer J-frame and it is an HACR-rated industrial device. This circuit breaker with a NEMA marked J-frame is available as a complete factory-assembled breaker, or the users can purchase its individual components such as a frame, terminal, or trip unit. The JDB3200 model has 3 poles and it features an interrupting capacity of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, or 18 kAIC on 600 Volts AC. This circuit breaker operates on a 50/60 Hertz frequency. The JDB3200 circuit breaker has a current rating (maximum continuous) of 200 Amps and it generally operates on 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. The JDB3200 circuit breaker with a molded case features a cable in/cable out feature and a fixed thermal-magnetic trip. The J-frame circuit breakers such as this one have a trip unit which is non-interchangeable and is well adjusted for reverse feed usage. The capabilities of the JDB3200 circuit breaker are well expanded with the addition of any of the internal and external accessories that are available with this model.
The accessories, both internal and external, can be applied in the left, center or right-pole position, depending on the specific requirements of the application at hand. The internal accessories include an alarm lockout, auxiliary switches, shunt trip units, and a mechanism for under voltage release, available at the left and right pole positions. The external accessories include an end cap kit, a control wire terminal kit, terminal shields, plug-in adapters, handle mechanisms, handle extensions and other options available for the central pole position. The small circuit breaker is 105 millimeters (4.13 inches) wide, 254 millimeters (10 inches) high, and 104.1 millimeters (4.06 inches) deep. In addition to that, the approximate weight of this industrial-grade device is 5.7 kilograms or 12.5 pounds. The JDB3200 circuit breaker operates in an environment with temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius, but it can be calibrated to operate at much lower/higher temperatures.
