The JDB3070W is a molded case circuit breaker that is manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The circuit breaker is classified under the C Series of molded case circuit breakers and it is classified as a JDB type of circuit protector. The JDB3070W is a 3-phase circuit protector and it comes as a 3-pole circuit breaker. The JDB3070W is built so that it can include an optional alarm switch and so that it can also offer an optional shunt trip and an optional under-voltage release mechanism. The trip unit for the JDB3070W is a fixed thermal trip unit and the breaker also features the fixed magnetic trip unit.
The voltage rating for the JDB3070W is 600 Volts AC and comes with an amperage rating of 70 Amps. The JDB3070W features the bolt-on connection type and it is also designed as a thermal magnetic protection type of circuit breaker. The JDB3070W comes with an interrupt rating capacity of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 18 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and also with a capacity of 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The JDB3070W comes with the UL 480 standard certification and it meets most of the other internationally acknowledged standardization certifications. The JDB3070W comes with a 1-year warranty that is valid from the date of installing the circuit breaker and it also has an option for an 18 months warranty that is valid from the date of the shipping of the circuit protector.
