The Eaton JDB2200W circuit breaker is manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. It is a Series C breaker with a J Frame, it is the JDB type of circuit breaker, and it can be accessed as a distinct factory sealed circuit breaker. The JDB2200W works with a 200 Amps amperage rating, and it has 2 poles but no terminals. It has a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit which makes it fit for reverse feed use. The Eaton JDB2200W circuit breakers and all the J-Frame breakers have an HACR rating. Additionally, they come as distinct parts with different frames, as well as with different trip units. These circuit breakers are factory assembled as complete breakers. The JDB2200W molded case circuit breaker is available as a 2-pole or a 3-pole circuit breaker. It features a time constant of 3 milliseconds minimum at 10 kA or one of 8 milliseconds minimum at 22 kA.
Other features include a maximum trip release ambient temperature rating of 40 degrees Celsius in all locations. The JDB2200W also has a trip-reset actuator feature, a multipole-single actuator body style, and an instantaneous trip. These Series C breakers, the JDB2200W has a current range of 15 to 2500 Amps. Eaton’s molded case circuit breakers are used in many applications such as electrical and machinery OEMs, mining breakers rated at 1100 Volts AC, earth leakage devices, DC breakers ranging between 125 and 750 Volts DC in power and between 15 and 1200 Amps in current ratings. They can as well be used as current limit breakers and as navy breakers. For these breakers, different combinations of accessories can be ordered and used based on the various types of accessories as well as the number of poles that are found in one particular circuit breaker.
