The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JDB2150 molded case circuit breaker is a member of Series C of the Eaton J Frame JDB type of circuit breakers. This product features both fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip units and it comes with 2 poles. The Eaton JDB2150 operates on amperage rating of 150 Amps, and its voltage rating is 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. It features an interrupt rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, or one of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, line and load terminals, and a frequency rating of 50 or 60 Hertz. All Eaton Cutler-Hammer products, including the Eaton JDB2150 circuit breaker, are HACR rated. They can be accessed as individual circuit breakers with separate frames, as different trip units, and as different terminals. Also, these J Frame breakers all come with non-interchangeable trip units. They are also appropriate for reverse feed use.
In addition to the circuit breakers, Eaton Cutler-Hammer also offers wire connecting abilities for a certain line of products with varied continuous current ratings and varied wire types. All of these terminals meet and comply with the Underwriters Laboratories Standards, as well as with the UL 486A and the UL 486B. Some of the circuit breakers in the same line of products as the JDB2150 include thermal-magnetic trip breakers, switches, trip breakers, current limit breakers, circuit protectors, and special application breakers. Eaton provides molded case switches which are used as compact switches and which are used in applications that require high current switching capabilities. These molded case switches are designed with circuit breaker modules and they are also a high instantaneous automatic type. These Cutler-Hammer J Frame breakers are all HACR-rated.
