The JD4200 is a C Series circuit breaker that is manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The module comes with the J frame size/style and it features a current of 200 Amps. It is a 4-pole circuit protector classified as a complete molded case switch with the JD circuit breaker type. The JD4200 has a frequency rating of 50-60 Hertz with the line and load terminal types. The terminal material for the module is aluminum and it features the fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. The JD4200 is a UL listed unit and it is therefore intended for use in providing service entrance protection, protecting the feeder, and protecting the branch circuit protector. The UL 489 standard it meets is in accordance with the National Installation Codes and it covers the instantaneous-trip circuit breakers that are intended for use as part of a combination motor controller.
The JD4200 comes with a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC and it features the shunt trip and the undervoltage release options. The trip unit type for the module is the adjustable thermal and adjustable magnetic trip types with no neutral pole. The JD4200 features a kAIC rating of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC with 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 18 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The JD4200 also features an optional alarm switch. The shipping weight per JD4200 unit is 13 pounds. It comes with the shipping dimensions of 10 inches in height, 5.5 inches in width, and 4.06 inches in length. The Cutler-Hammer C series circuit breakers come with a current that ranges from 15 to 2500 Amps with a high-speed blow-open action circuit breaker. The classification comes with circuit switches that are available for the 600 Volts AC or the 250 Volts DC systems.
