The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JD3070 complete circuit breaker with a molded case is one of the products from Series C of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers that are made for industrial systems that need proper circuit protection. This product is made and designed by Eaton Cutler-Hammer and its main purpose is to prevent the damage that may occur due to abnormal load currents. The circuit breakers from this series are accustomed for many different applications and they are designed with factory-installed accessories that are available through the cover. The users can choose from 8 different frames and a range of amperage ratings to find the device that meets their needs the best. This series of circuit breakers offers fewer options than Series G devices, but it provides all of the necessary features required by almost any controlled system.
The JD3070 circuit breaker has 3 poles and fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. The voltage rating that is specified for the system into which this circuit protection device is integrated is 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. The 40 degrees Celsius continuous amperage rating of this circuit breaker is 70 Amps while its operating frequency is standard at 50 to 60 Hertz. This complete circuit breaker is of the JD type and its construction includes a J Frame. In addition to that, the interrupt rating of this extremely reliable device is 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC.
