The Eaton JD2250F circuit breaker is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker that is manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker is part of Series C of the Eaton JD Type thermal magnetic circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker feature cable in/cable out accommodation, 2 poles, 250 Amps of current rating, 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC voltage ratings. The Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker is contained in the J Frame type of enclosure. The keeper nut is mounted onto the line or load conductor of the Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker and it is used as a threaded adapter; for the conductor to allow a bolt-on connector.
The Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker is equipped with a plug nut meant for applications where screw-connected ring-type terminals are required to connect cables to the Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker conductors. The under-voltage release mechanism controls the typical line voltage and it trips the Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker when the voltage falls to between 35 and 70% of the solenoid coil rating. The users should note that the Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker contacts will not close when the pickup voltage applied to the under-voltage release mechanism is lower. The users should not use the under-voltage release mechanism components like the circuit interlocks. A 24-point terminal block can be mounted on the right side of the Cutler-Hammer JD2250F circuit breaker for accommodating interior accessories. The auxiliary switch provides the circuit breaker contact with status information by monitoring the position of the molded crossbar that contains the moving contact arms.
