The JD2250 is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The JD2250 is classified under the C Series of circuit breakers and it comes as a 2-pole circuit breaker. The module also features 250 Amps of current rating and it comes as a UL listed device. With the UL 489 listing, the JD2250 is intended for use as a service entrance protector and it is also common for branch circuits. The module features an interrupt rating of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 18 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The JD2250 features line and load terminals and it comes with the adjustable thermal and magnetic trip units. The JD2250 has no neutral pole and no neutral protection and it is 80% rated.
The JD2250 also features an optional alarm switch with optional shunt trips and optional undervoltage release. The shipping dimensions for the JD2250 are 10 inches in height, 4.13 inches in width, and a length of 4.06 inches. The JD2250 features the J frame type or style and it comes with the JD circuit breaker type. It has a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz and IT features an aluminum terminal with a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. It is a UL listed device and meets the global standards, gaining a global acceptance. The JD2250 has been designed for electrical and machinery OEMs, giving it the capacity for serving a wide range of industrial applications.
