The JD2150 is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by the Cutler Hammer division of the Eaton Corporation. The module comes with the UL 489 device certification and it is intended to provide protection for the service entrance, feeder, and branch circuits. The JD2150 belongs to a wide variety of the molded case circuit breakers by Eaton and it has been specially designed for electrical and mechanical applications that serve a wide range of industrial functions. The module has been designed using the latest innovations, offering a high rate of reliability and dependability when it comes to application protection. The module has an interrupt rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and also 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The j frame module features a current rating of 150 Amps and it is a 2-pole module with the J-Frame as the frame size.
The complete breaker has a frequency rating of 50 or 60 Hertz with line and load terminals. It comes with a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and it also features a 250 Volts DC voltage rating. The terminal material used on the JD2150 is aluminum with the trip types being the fixed thermal and magnetic trip types. The JD2150 is J frame HACR rated module and it is available as an individual component with an option for the factory-assembled complete breakers. The JD2150 is a non-interchangeable trip unit that comes as a suitable module for reverse feed use. Mostly, the JD2150 is used in panelboards, switchboards, and in motor control and also busway applications. Therefore, the JD2150 offers dependable branch circuit protection and it has gained acceptance in the market for over 20 years now. The module is available for the systems that have over 600 Volts AC or the 250 Volts DC rated applications that carry a current of over 2500 Amps.
