The HJD3200 is a complete molded circuit breaker manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The unit features a Kilo Ampere Interrupting Capacity of 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, of 25 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and of 22 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The HJD3200 comes with the J- frame and it features a current rating of 200 Amps and it is a 3-pole unit. The module is described as a complete breaker featuring the HJD Circuit breaker type. The HJD3200 comes with a frequency rating of 50 or 60 Hertz. It also features the Line and Load terminals with Voltage ratings of 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. The HJD3200 also features an aluminum terminal material with the fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip type. In addition, the HJD3200’s shipping dimensions are 4.06 inches in length, 4.13 inches in height and 4.13 inches in width, and it weighs 12.5 pounds.
The J-frame Eaton`s circuit protectors are all HACR rated and they are sold as separate components and available assembled from the factory The J-frame circuit breakers come with noninterchangeable trip units that are suitable for the reverse feed use. The HJD3200, therefore, features the above characteristics because it is a member of the J-frame circuit breakers. The HJD3200 is used commonly in panelboards, switchboards, motor controllers, and also for the busway systems providing a reliable circuit protection for the electrical equipment. As a member of the J frame circuit breakers, the module meets various standards. The HJD3200 comes with a toggle operating mechanism that helps to serve as a switching position indicator. The toggle on the HJD3200 shows if the device is ON, OFF, or tripped. Ideally, when the toggle has snapped to the tripped position, it may be because of overcurrent, a short circuit, shunting, or an overvoltage release.
