The Eaton HJD3100 circuit protection device is a component used for overcoming issues that come with current overloads and short circuits. The HJD3100 is actually a circuit breaker that is part of Series C of the circuit protection products that are developed by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This manufacturer offers a wide range of different circuit breakers and other similar devices that will ensure a safe and reliable mechanical system. There are many cases where a valuable piece of equipment can be damaged due to a lack of circuit protection. The circuit breakers of this type are available in many variants with different frames, and different amperage and voltage ratings. The Series C circuit breakers come with factory installed accessories and in a standard size. This circuit breaker is a complete breaker placed in a J frame and it includes fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. In addition to that, the HJD3100 has 3 poles and an amperage of 100 Amps. The supported voltage rating for this circuit breaker is 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. The operating frequency of this device is 50 to 60 Hertz, which is similar to the other breakers from Series C.
