The Eaton Series C molded case circuit breaker with the product code HJD3070 is manufactured and designed by Eaton Cutler-Hammer and it can be used for various industrial applications. Generally, these circuit breakers are integrated into systems where circuit protection is needed. These high-performance and reliable circuit protection devices will help in the prevention of damage that may occur due to current overloads, short circuits, and other unexpected events. The Series C devices are intended for the domestic market and they feature fewer options than other devices in other series but these circuit breakers will provide almost everything that the users need to properly protect the system that is being controlled. These circuit breakers fall under a continuous amperage rating at 40 degrees Celsius of 70 to 250 Amps and they can be produced with 2, 3, or 4 poles. Also, these circuit breakers are made in 8 different frames to fit different requirements.
The HJD3070 model is manufactured as a 3-pole circuit breaker with a J frame and a complete breaker frame type. The interrupting rating of the circuit breaker is 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC while its frequency rating is 50 to 60 Hertz. The operating voltage of the controlled system for which the circuit breaker is used is 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. The HJD3070 has an amperage rating of 70 Amps. In addition to that, this HJD type circuit breaker comes with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. The HJD3070 circuit breaker operates in ambient temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius and it can be used in standard industrial environments. The HJD circuit breakers are small in size and this model is a little heavier than similar devices with other frame types.
