The Eaton/Westinghouse GHC3035 is a circuit breaker with a fixed magnetic fixed thermal trip unit. The GHC3035 measures 5 inches in height by 3.2 inches in width by 3.7 inches in depth and it has a net weight of 11 ounces. The GHC3035 has a 65 Kilo Amps Interrupt Capacity at 240 Volts AC and 14 Kilo Amps Interrupt Capacity at 480 Volts AC. The circuit breaker is designed to provide protection to systems with an operating voltage not exceeding 480 Volts AC. The GHC3035 is factory-sealed, which restricts user installation or the servicing of the breaker’s internal components.
The Eaton GHC3035 circuit breaker has a molded case which is resistant to moisture and fungus buildup. However, only the case is resistant. The internal components may be prone to moisture and fungus. It is recommended that if the GHC3035 circuit breaker or any other molded case circuit breaker with a molded case has to be used in environments known for moisture and fungus, additional protection should be requested from the factory. The Eaton GHC3035 has 3 poles and it is a member of Series C of the Eaton molded case circuit breakers in the GHC category. The amperage rating for the GHC3035 is 35 Amps and it has a non-replaceable trip unit. The trip unit features a handle which indicates the operating condition of the circuit breaker. The handle can assume 3 different positions – ON, TRIPPED, or OFF. Additionally, a RESET position is present and it is used to revert the GHC3035 back to the ON position after it has tripped.
