The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHC2035 Completely Assembled Series C Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a general purpose circuit breaker in the G frame series of circuit breakers with the non-adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit used for short-circuit and overload protection in a wide range of low voltage applications. This breaker comes already assembled with a frame, a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit, 2 line and line side terminals, and an operating mechanism which prevents contact closure in abnormal current condition. The GHC2035 has a nominal circuit current rating of 35 Amps, with an interrupt rating of 65 KAIC, and can be used with circuits with a 480 Volt AC maximum operating voltage. This breaker offers fast-acting thermal trip action using bimetal heated by line current, and which will deflect upon prolonged circuit overload. It also provides instantaneous magnetic trip action, made possible via an electromagnet in the series with line current, and which instantaneously trips when the circuit current exceeds the factory designated value. The GHC2035 has 2 standard loads and line side clamped terminals made of 4 to 50-millimeter square Copper/Aluminium wire with slotted screw heads and a wear resistant terminal cover. It has a mechanically trip-free operating mechanism, which prevents contact closure in the event of overloads, and it helps indicate whether the breaker is Tripped, ON, or OFF. The GHC2035 like all Eaton Cutler Hammer Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers is 80% rated, and it is designed to operate without derating under a temperature limit of 40 degree Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). The GHC2035 has a gross shipping weight of 0.6 kilograms, with an aggregate mounting dimension of 7.62 x 88.9 x 152.4 millimeters, and it has CSA, IEC, and UL certifications.
