The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHC2030 Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a Frame G circuit breaker with a fixed thermal and magnetic trip unit designed for main and branch circuit protection in a variety of low voltage applications. Similarly to every frame G breakers is rated for HACR and reverse feed use, and it comes with a 2-pole design with a 2 factory supplied standard Copper/Aluminium pressure terminals and terminal covers. The GHC2030 has a circuit current rating of 30 Amps, with an interrupt rating of 65 KAIC, and can be used to provide robust circuit protection in applications with 480 Volt AC/250 Volt DC maximum circuit voltage. This breaker comes already assembled with 2 standard line and load side terminals, a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit, an operating mechanism of quick make or break type, and a frame.
The GHC2030 trip unit provides fast-acting and instantaneous trip action using line current heated bimetal and an electromagnet connected in series with line current, and this trip unit is designed to be close to manual adjustment, thereby preventing human errors. The GHC2030 operating mechanism mechanically prevents contacts from closing during abnormal circuit conditions, and it shows if the breaker is ON, OFF, or Tripped, and if the breaker is tripped, there is a reset button which returns the breaker to normal position. This breaker is designed to provide 80% rating below a 40 degree Celsius temperature limit, and it is also designed to operate with a 0 to 95% non-corrosive and noncondensing relative humidity environment. The GHC2030 has an average shipping weight of 0.5 kilograms, with an approximate shipping dimension of 127.0 x 53.3 x 99.1 millimeterss, and it is UL, IEC and CSA certified.
