The Eaton Series-C GHC2020 is a complete GHC type circuit breaker. GHC type circuit breakers are available for current ratings of a minimum of 15 Amps to a maximum of 100 Amps ratings and 1, 2, and 3-pole configurations. The GHC2020 is a 2-pole circuit breaker and it utilizes a fixed thermal/magnetic tripping module. It is rated for 20 Amps. Ratings of 125/250 Volts DC and 480Y/277 Volts AC are the voltage ratings for this circuit breaker. The GHC2020 is rated for 65 kilo-Amps interrupting capacity at 240 Volts AC and 14 kilo-Amps interrupting capacity at 480Y/277 Volts AC. Frequencies supported by the GHC2020 include 50 and 60 Hertz.
The GHC2020 includes line and load terminals. The terminals are made of plated steel. Wire that is 14 to 10 AWG copper or aluminum wire is recommended to be used for the terminals. The GHC2020 is UL certified and it satisfies requirements of the IEC-157-1 standard. An auxiliary switch, lockout switch, shunt trip, and lock dog are accessories that are available with the GHC2020. To comply with UL standards, the GHC20202 is factory sealed after accessory installation. Before installing the GHC2020 in an electrical system, the circuit breaker should be put in the off position. It should also be ensured that the associated electrical system is not energized. Failure to ensure this could result in serious injury, death, or damage to property. The GHC2020 is a G-frame circuit breaker. It weighs 1.1 pounds and has dimensions of 4.7 x 2 x 2 inches.
