The GHC1070 Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a factory assembled circuit breaker in the Eaton Cutler-Hammer Series C, Frame GH family of multi-purpose breakers with UL rated line and load end terminals used for branch and main circuit protection in a variety of low voltage distribution systems. This breaker is HACR rated like every Frame G circuit breaker, and it comes with a single pole wiring design suitable for single phase applications. The GHC1070 is rated for use in applications with a 277 Volt AC/125 Volt DC operating voltage, and it has a continuous current rating of 70 Amps, as well as an interrupting capacity of 65 KAIC. The GHC1070 is a circuit breaker with factory assembled parts consisting of a Frame, a Terminal, an operating mechanism, and a non-adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit.
The GHC1070 comes with a single UL rated standard line and load end pressure terminal made of Copper/Aluminium steel, and a terminal cover for protection against wears. The GHC1070 has a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit, which provides thermal and magnetic trip actions via load heated bimetal and series connected electromagnet. Its operating mechanism is of quick make and break type, which holds contacts open in abnormal circuit condition. This also indicates the position of the breaker (ON, OFF, or Tipped) to the module’s users. The GHC1070 has a rated operating temperature limit of 40 degree Celsius and is built to operate within a 0 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity environment. The GHC1070 has a total shipping volume of 1.0 x 3.3 x 5.0 inches and a gross shipping weight of 0.6 pounds.
