The GHB3100 is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB3100 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the Type GHB molded case circuit breaker. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB3100 circuit breaker features 100 Amps of maximum continuous load current rating, 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, an aluminum terminal pressure line, and three poles. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB3100 circuit breaker is housed in a Series C NEMA G frame. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB3100 circuit breaker acts as a bolt-on branch circuit breaker designed for use in 227 to 480 Volts AC rated panelboards, providing effective conventional branch circuit protection.
The circuit breaker also features a unique solenoid-operated mechanism which provides for efficient breaker pulse-on and pulse-off operation when it is used with a suitable controller such as Eaton’s Pow-R-Command lighting control system. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB3100 circuit breaker consists of an integral crossbar to enhance simultaneous opening of all three poles when configured with other multiple circuit breakers. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB3100 circuit breaker features a manual mechanism operated by an external handle actuator that enables ON, OFF, and RESET operations; the handle actuator assumes a center TRIP position after performing a protective response. The circuit breaker is also equipped with a thermal memory that prevents power operation immediately after an overload trip.
