The GHB3070 is Eaton’s thermal magnetic circuit breaker manufactured under the C Series. The module features 70 Amps of current and it comes with up to 3 poles. It has a maximum voltage of 480Y/277 Volts AC and it also has 125 or 250 Volts DC voltage. The module comes with an interrupting rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and 14 kAIC at 480 Y or 277 Volts AC. The GHB3070 also features the G-Frame type of frame and it is classified as a GHB circuit breaker type with a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. Further, the GHB3070 is a complete breaker frame type with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. The shipping dimensions for the GHB3070 are 3.8 inches in height, 3.8 inches in width, and 6.6 inches in length and the weight is 1.75 pounds.
When installing the GHB3070, it is advisable that the users disconnect it from the power source before installing or servicing. Always ensure that the GHB3070 is installed in a suitable enclosure and keep it free from any contaminants that include wetness, dust, and other harmful contaminants. Read the manufacturers’ handbook before mounting the shaft support assembly to the back panel. Correctly assemble the shaft support to the circuit breaker to avoid improper operation and damage. For the DIN rail or the snap-in base plate application, make sure to carefully remove the cover screws without causing any breakage. For installation in a neutral-grounded WYE system, a solidly-grounded or low-resistance grounded downstream single-line-to-ground fault should be interrupted by a single pole of the breaker. The GHB3070 is suitable for reverse feed use, complete with non-interchangeable, LI-long time and instantaneous trip functions, being a thermal magnetic molded case circuit breaker.
