The GHB3045 is an Eaton C Series complete molded case circuit breaker. This circuit breaker features a G-Frame with an interrupting rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, and one of 14 kAIC at 480 or 277 Volts AC. The GHB3045 also features a maximum voltage rating of 277 to 480 Volts AC and 125 to 250 Volts DC with 45 Amps. The shipping dimensions for the GHB3045 are 3.9 inches in height, 3.8 inches in width, and 6.6 inches in length. The gross/net weight for the GHB3045 at shipment is 1 pound. When it comes to the terminals, the GHB3045 has been designed for load side terminals only. The connection is an extended tang that bolts directly to the bus chassis. The GHB3045 load terminals are UL-listed as suitable for the wire type and different sizes. It is advisable that when operators are using the circuit breaker with aluminum conductors, that they should use a joint compound.
The GHB3045 has been designed for use on all the 3-phase Delta grounded phase applications featuring 240 Volts AC power. The 480 Y and the 277 Volts circuit breakers are not suitable for the 3-phase Delta grounded B phase applications. The GHB3045 has been designed as a suitable circuit breaker for reverse feed applications and it is HACR rated. The GHB3045 virtually eliminates the need for redesigning and it can be used as a replacement for the older circuit breakers in the same panelboards, the feed pillars, the busbar trunking tap offs, the individual enclosures, the machine tool control panels, and also the control centers. The GHB3045 comes with a built-in communications option that allows all the protection, monitoring, and control information to be transmitted back to the central location through the PowerNet™ system.
