The GHB3025 is a 3-pole, Cutler-Hammer Type GHB thermal-magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It is rated at 125 Volts to 250 Volts DC or 277 to 480 Volts AC, 25 Amps continuous current, 50 to 60 Hertz frequency, and its weight is around 0.81 kilograms. This circuit breaker belongs to Series C of the Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers and has a 14-kilo ampere interrupting capacity as well as a noninterchangeable trip. The GHB3025 is suitable for reverse feed applications and it can provide high-performance circuit protection and control for a wide variety of industrial and field equipment. The GHB3025 circuit breaker has a compact but rugged build and it requires minimal mounting effort for various industrial environments.
It features 3-line and load terminals, each with extended terminals on the line side that are fastened to the bus with bolts and it has screw clamp terminals on the load side. The surface panel or DIN rail mounting of the GHB3025 circuit breaker can be done horizontally or vertically and for easy identification of compatible equipment, its rating should be compared to the information on the equipment’s nameplate. The integral toggle handle switch of the GHB3025 circuit breaker indicates if it is on or off or whether it has tripped. Note that nuisance trips can occur if the power rating of this circuit breaker is exceeded or if one or more of its line or load terminals are loose. In addition, a loose terminal can cause overheating, reduced performance, or serious damage to the circuit breaker or equipment connected to it.
