The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHB2030 Series Molded Case Circuit is a G Frame Bolt on Panel Board Circuit breaker with a non-interchangeable internal trip unit which provides overload and circuit protection for a low voltage distribution system. Like most series “C” circuit breakers, the GHB2030 is designed to operate for years without maintenance, therefore saving maintenance cost, and it the non-interchangeable trip unit is designed to prevent adjustment, therefore, eliminating human error. The GHB2030 has a maximum trip rating of 30 Ampere with a maximum interrupting capacity of 14 KAIC at 277 Volts rating and 65 KAIC at 277 to 480 Volt AC, and it is designed for applications with voltage ratings of 277 to 480 Volts AC and 125 to 250 Volts DC. The GHB2030 has a standard slotted head type Aluminium pressure terminal with 10 to 1/0 AWG wire size and is designed for reverse feed use. The GHB2030 is a 2-pole circuit breaker designed with a 3-phase Delta (240 Volt) Grounded B phase applications, and it is HACR rated. It consists of a quick-make and quick-break type operating mechanism, which provide a way of opening/closing the breaker contacts, and with a Trip element which consists of multi-purpose thermal magnetic breakers, which trip the operating mechanism in case of overload or short-circuit current. It also has an Arc Extinguisher, which confines, divides and extinguishes the arc drawn between opening breaker contacts, and it has factory designated ambient temperature peak of 60 degree Celsius. The GHB2030 is IEC, UL, and CSA approved, and it has a net mounting weight of 0.6 Kilogram (1.2 Pounds) with a total shipping dimension of 50.78 x 123.95 x 71.41 millimeters (2.0 x 4.88 x 2.81 inches).
