The GHB2025, a device manufactured by the Eaton Corporation, is a Series C G Frame circuit breaker. The circuit breaker has a maximum current rating of 25 Amps and it is a 2-pole circuit breaker. While performing the installation of the circuit breaker, make sure the switch of the circuit breaker is in the off position. The input voltage on the system where the GHB2025 is being installed should be turned off to prevent a hazard or injury due to electric shock. Inspect the circuit breaker for any damage before proceeding with the installation. Perform the installation according to the instructions in the installation manual provided by the manufacturer.
The users must make sure the GHB2025 circuit breaker is suited for the application and that the line and load voltage and current are within the rated limits of the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker has a window to display a white strip which indicates the tripped condition. The users must periodically inspect the circuit breakers and remove any dirt or dust by using a lint-free cloth. They also need to check the mechanical linkages of the circuit breaker by manually turning the switch of the GHB2025 on and off multiple times. If the operation of the circuit breaker is not as expected, then the users need to replace the circuit breaker. Check the terminals and the connection for any insulation issues and loose connections. The circuit breaker is made to be installed in non-corrosive environments only. Users must perform the field testing according to the NEMA standards and to refer to the latest edition of the AB4 standards.
