The Eaton GHB1015 is a GHB-type circuit breaker which belongs to Eaton Series C. GHB circuit breakers can satisfy requirements ranging from 15 to 100 Amps of continuous current. GHB type circuit breakers have been designed to be used with power line two type panelboards (or equivalent) from Eaton. The current rating of the GHB1015 is 15 Amps. The voltage ratings of the GHB1015 are 277 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC. The circuit breaker supports 50 and 60 Hertz frequencies. At 277 Volts AC, it is rated for 14 kilo-Amps interrupt capacity. The GHB1015 is a single-pole circuit breaker. The GHB1015 uses a fixed magnetic and fixed thermal trip module.
When the breaker trips due to a thermal event, the circuit breaker can only be reset once the thermal element in the trip module has cooled sufficiently. The GHB1015 complies with Federal Specifications Classification W-C375B and it is also UL certified. Shunt trip, lock dog, auxiliary switch, and lockout switch are some of the accessories available for the GHB1015. Since the UL standard requires factory installation of accessories, the GHB is sealed at the factory after installation of accessories. However, field installation of accessories can be performed where required and where it is permitted by local codes. Field installation of accessories should be performed prior to installation of the GHB1015. The GHB1015 is available in a GHB frame. The dimensions of the GHB1015 are 6.2 x 2.1 x 3.7 inches. The weight of the GHB1015 is approximately 0.7 pounds.
