The Eaton GDB3020 circuit breaker is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker that is designed and manufactured by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer Company. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer Type GDB thermal magnetic circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker feature 3 poles, 3-phase configuration, 20 Amps of current rating, 480 Volts AC operating voltage, a standard interrupting capacity, a bolt-on connection, LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) trip functions, and load side lug terminals for maximum efficiency, convenience, and safety. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker is housed in a G Frame type of enclosure for its own protection and for the safety of the users. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 thermal magnetic circuit breaker is protected from undervoltage by a solenoid device which is mounted on the circuit breaker case.
The Eaton GDB3020’s solenoid coil should be energized before closing the Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker. To conform with the Code of Federal Regulations 30 CFR 75.601-2; the Eaton Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 thermal magnetic circuit breaker is configured with instantaneous pickup settings to enhance its conformity. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker is designed for applications that require a compact, high capacity disconnect properties. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker meets the circuit protection, and switching capabilities for various DC end users demands. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GDB3020 circuit breaker is applicable in applications such as the UPS battery supply circuits, the solar panel systems, and electric charging vehicles, and also in the commercial and industrial distribution machines and systems.
