The HFD4030 is a 4 pole molded case circuit-breaker made by Cutler-Hammer industries. The HFD4030 is a high-performance circuit protection device which is one the best additions in Eaton’s C-series circuit breaker series. Optimized for circuit protection in volatile low voltage distribution systems, the HFD4030 provides protection for the conductors from voltage related accidents and issues. One of the rarer 4 pole molded case circuit breakers from Eaton’s C-Series, the HFD4030 is of the thermal-magnetic trip type. Customers prefer the HFD4030 compared to other mold case circuit-breakers due to the highly customizable calibration settings that make it very adaptable to different situations.
The frequency range of the HFD4030 ranges between 50 to 60 Hertz. The power ratings of the input and output of the HFD4030 are 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC respectively with an Amperage rating of 30 Amps. The high load capacity of the HFD4030 is offset by the multi-wire connectors, which distribute the voltage loads without needing any additional terminal blocks. For special terminal operations, the HFD4030 comes equipped with interphase barriers. Since the HFD4030 has more poles than most other C-series molded case circuit-breaker models, it also comes with a walking beam interlock for connecting other circuit breakers with similar pole configurations. The dimensions of the HFD4030 without packaging stand at 3.38 X 5.5 X 5.5 inch. It supports both panel and rail type mounting, though the rail adapter for the latter type of mounting has to be ordered separately. The HFD4030 comes with a one year warranty.
