The HFD2070 is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the Eaton HFD Type Molded Case Circuit Breakers. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker features 2 poles, 70 Amps of current, 600 Volts AC output power at 50 to 60 Hertz frequency, 250 Volts DC, 1-phase power, 100 kAIC of interrupting capacity at 240 Volts AC interrupting voltage rating, and LI-Long-Time and instantaneous trip operations. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker is housed in a NEMA F-Frame enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker case is made from glass-polyester that does not support the growth of fungus.
The users should use the KPRL3AFD2 connector kit when configuring the Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker in a panel that is the PRL3A type, and use the KPRL4FD2 when mounting the Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker in the PRL4 panel. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker is equipped with a push-to-trip button that monitors the tripping function and it is used to exercise the operating mechanism regularly. When an optional terminal end cover is necessary for mounting the Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker; then the users should position the Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker before the cable is integrated into terminals. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker is designed to provide years of easy operation with little maintenance. The Cutler-Hammer HFD2070 circuit breaker is reset by moving the circuit breaker handle to the extreme off position.
