The HFD1025 is a complete HFD breaker that has been included in the F Frame product line of Series C of the molded case circuit breakers that are manufactured and designed by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer HFD1025 complete HFD breaker operates with a voltage of 347 Volts AC or of 125 Volts DC, all along with a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. It includes terminals on the load side only and it has an interrupting range of 100 symmetrical Amps at a specific voltage of 240 Volts AC. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer HFD1025 complete HFD breaker is able to operate non-stop even when a fault has been detected, it can be put back into operations as soon as the fault has been cleared.
The Eaton Cutler-Hammer HFD1025 complete HFD breaker is somewhat sensitive to high temperatures. Its performance could be affected if it is installed into an enclosure with poor heat dissipation. It is recommended to derate the breaker if it is going to be exposed to temperatures higher than 40 degrees Celsius. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer HFD1025 complete HFD breaker uses a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic technology, and both of these mechanisms work as a complement to detect all kind of faults and to perform a tripping action to stop currents and prevent direct damage to the whole system. When located strategically, the Eaton Cutler-Hammer HFD1025 complete HFD breaker is able to provide protection to circuits, equipment, enclosures, and more. The main applications for this kind of breaker are machine tool control panels, control boards, feeder pillars, and individual enclosures.
