The Cutler-Hammer FDE322532 is an FD-Frame Circuit Breaker with 310+ Electronic Trip Unit Technology. This is a three-pole circuit breaker that has the current capacity of 225 Amps. This module has independently adjustable short time pickup and delay on the front side of the breaker’s housing. The interrupting capacity of this item is 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC and 18 kAIC at 600 Volts AC. It has an FD-Frame housing and molded case circuit breakers with this type of housing have load terminals only as standard equipment. You can order many accessories for this MCCB - alarm and auxiliary switches, alarm plus an auxiliary switch combination, a UVR, and a shunt trip. You can combine these additional features to get a device that fits your needs.
The FDE322532 uses Digitrip 310+ LSI trip unit. It provides a long time, short time, and instantaneous protection. For this trip unit, you can set continuous current or long delay pickup between 100 and 225 Amps (8 fixed segments between these values). The short delay pickup can be adjusted between 2 and 12 times nominal current rating. The Eaton FDE322532 has FD-frame highly-isolated housing. It is shipped with dimensions of 124 x 130 x 188 millimeters (4.9 x 5.1 x 7.4 inches). The item can be installed horizontally or vertically, but if installed vertically, the “ON” position must be on the upper side of the device in order to be compliant with regulations.
