The FDE316036 is an electronic circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trip units from Series C of the circuit breakers that are manufactured and designed by Cutler-Hammer (Eaton Corporation), specifically to the frame FD electronic circuit breakers. Electronic circuit breakers are widely used in several industries. The FDE316036 can not only protect systems from abnormal line transients, but it can also be programmed to do it in a certain way. These are used as compact switches in applications that require a high level of performance. The Cutler-Hammer FDE316036 electronic circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trip units has a trip mechanism that works by means of a current transformer combined with solid-state circuitry that is able to monitor the current and initiate a trip when an overload or a short circuit occurs.
The Cutler-Hammer FDE316036 electronic circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trip units operates only on AC voltage, and this range goes between 240 and 600 Volts AC. It has a maximum current rating of 160 Amps and it features a performance of 35 Symmetrical Amps at a voltage of 480 Volts AC and one of 18 Symmetrical Amps at a voltage of 600 Volts AC.
