The FDC3080 is a dependable molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. It is designed for electrical systems and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) because it serves an extensive range of industries and applications. This module incorporates the latest technological innovations and it offers superior reliability and effectiveness. It has 3 poles and features a current rating of 80 Amps. The FDC3080 is available for 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC systems with current ratings of 2500 Amps maximum. This Series C molded case circuit breaker is panel mounted and it comes with a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts AC. The module’s interrupting capacity is 100 kiloamps at 480 Volts AC, 22 kiloamps at 250 Volts DC, 35 kiloamps at 600 Volts AC, 200 kiloamps at 220 or 240 Volts AC, and 100 kiloamps at 380, 415, and 440 Volts AC.
This high-speed circuit breaker outperforms the standards listed by the IEEE and it is outfitted with an extremely fast ‘blow-open’ action feature. It’s designed by Eaton to provide optimum branch circuit protection for DC devices, and mining applications as well as engine-generator applications. The FDC3080 is intended for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) who have diverse industrial application needs. It is panel mounted and it features a standard pressure line as well as pressure load terminals. Measuring 4.125 inches (width) by 3.375 inches (length) by 6.0 inches (height), the module comes complete with a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip and a bolt-on connection feature. Load side lug terminals are also available. This current limiting molded case circuit breaker incorporates multiple functions such as LI-long-time plus the instantaneous trip functions.
