The FDC3030 is a circuit protector that is manufactured by Cutler-Hammer. The module is classified under the C Series of Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers. It comes with the non-interchangeable trip long-time and instantaneous trip functions. The FDC3030 is an FDC type circuit breaker with the F Frame type. The module features as a complete molded case circuit protector with the load side terminals. Note that all the F Frame circuit breakers and those classified as the molded case circuit breakers feature the load side terminals only. In this class of circuit breakers, the load terminal is included as a standard line end terminal.
The voltage ratings for the FDC3030 circuit protector include 600 Volts AC, and also 250 Volts DC. The amperage rating for the FDC3030 is 30 Amps with 2 trip type options which include the fixed thermal trip type and also the fixed magnetic trip type. The module has 3 poles. The kAIC rating for the FDC3030 is 200 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 100 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 35 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, 22 kAIC at 250 Volts DC, and 200 kAIC at 220/240 Volts DC. The C Series circuit breakers by Cutler-Hammer should be installed by a trained technician. These circuit breakers should be installed after a thorough inspection is made of the circuit breakers to ascertain that it will meet the demand of the applications where the module is going to be used. In addition, these circuit breakers are factory sealed and they feature the UL489 rating.
