The Cutler-Hammer FDB3090 is a 90 Amps molded case circuit breaker designed specifically for low-voltage systems. The FDB3090 is a high-performance molded case circuit breaker that is capable of protecting conductors from overloads as well as short-circuits that are caused by other connected motors and devices effectively. The FDB3090 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trips. the FDB3090 comes with a wide array of different breaker options that are highly modifiable for specific machinery and tasks, and for different application purposes. For greater versatility, the FDB3090 comes with calibration options suitable for temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius and frequencies below 50 or 60 Hertz. The FDB3090 is secured with cylinder locks, walking beam interlocks, as well as terminal end covers.
The input and output power ratings of the FDB3090 are 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC, respectively. The FDB3090 has multiple interruption ratings at 18 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 14 kAIC at 480 to 600 Volts AC, 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC, 18 kAIC at 220 to 240 Volts AC, 14 kAIC at 380/415/440/500 Volts AC, and 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. Thanks to the high-performance line and load terminals, the FDB3090 can work across different ranges of current ratings and it can support multiple types of wiring that are not present in most other molded circuit breakers on the market. The FDB3090 has a wide range of applications that are not limited to industrial settings including maritime applications. The FDB3090 supports an F frame design and it is a Type HFD circuit-breaker which comes with a thermal-magnetic trip. It also comes with a control wire terminal kit as well as multiwall connectors as well as terminal shields. The FDB3090 comes with a load terminal by default, but it can also support line terminals.
