The FDB2050 Series C molded case circuit breaker from Eaton Cutler-Hammer has two poles and a trip current rating of 50 Amps. The physical dimensions of the FDB2050 molded case circuit breaker are 2.75 inches (70 millimeters) length, 6 inches (152 millimeters) width, and 3.375 inches (86 millimeters) depth. The weight of the circuit breaker is only 3 pounds (1.361 kilograms). The circuit breaker satisfies many international certifications. Some of the notable international certifications are the Australian Standard AS 2184, the Japanese T-mark standard, and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association Standards Publication Number AB1 – 1993. The FDB2050 molded case circuit breakers are designed for high-quality performance and preventing excess currents from entering electrical appliances.
The circuit breaker has an 18000 kAIC UL-489 rating at 240 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz frequency. Similarly, it has a 14,000 kAIC at 600 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz frequency. For the direct current voltage, the FDB2050 molded case circuit breaker can control 10,000 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. On the other hand, the IEC 157-1 interrupting capacity ratings (P1) indicate that the FDB2050 circuit breakers can control 18,000 kAIC at 220 and 240 Volts AC, 14,000 kAIC at 380 and 415 Volts AC, 14,000 kAIC at 440 Volts AC, 14,000 kAIC at 500 Volts AC, and 10,000 kAIC at 250 Volts DC.
