The Eaton FD4025 is a molded case FD-type circuit breaker. Applications requiring 10 to 225 Amps can be satisfied by F-Frame type circuit breakers. The FD4025 carries the HACR rating and is appropriate for reverse feed use. The FD4025 is also appropriate for high-intensity discharge use. The FD4025 has a current rating of 25 Amps. Its DC voltage rating is around 250 Volts DC with associated 10 kiloamps interrupt capacity. For AC voltages, the FD4025 is rated at 65, 35, and 18 kiloamps interrupt capacity at 240, 480, and 600 Volts AC respectively. The FD4025 is a four pole molded case circuit breaker and utilizes a non-interchangeable fixed magnetic/thermal tripping module. Steel line and load terminals are included with the circuit breaker. Aluminum or copper wire of 2.5 to 50 millimeters squared is recommended for use with the circuit breaker terminals. To comply with UL 489 codes, the FD4025 is sealed at the factory after installation of all accessories.

Therefore following precautions should be following during installation or maintenance: the FD4025 circuit breaker should be in an off state, as should all other electrical equipment. The work area should be clear of all voltages and maintenance or installation activities should be carried out by trained and experienced technicians. The FD4025 is available in an F-frame. It weighs 2.7 kilograms and its dimensions are 152.4 x 139.7 x 86 millimeters.
