About FD3150

The FD3150 is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker is part of the Eaton C Series of complete molded case circuit breaker. The Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker features 150 Amps of current, 250 Volts DC and 600 Volts AC voltage, and interruption ratings of 65 kAIC at 240V AC and 35 kAIC at 480V AC. The Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker is configured with 3 poles and entailed in Series C Frame F type. The Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker is designed for closing and interrupting a circuit between separable contacts under both normal and abnormal conditions, and the Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker acts as an integral unit in a supporting and enclosing housing made of insulating material.

The Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker protects conductors against overloads and connected apparatus such as motors and motor starters against short circuits. The Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker is operated by handle mechanisms which are meant for virtually any industrial need. When mounting the Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker, the users should ensure the mounting panel is pre-drilled using a bolt drilling plan, and when equipped with interior accessories, the users should provide the accessory wiring which is reachable when the molded case circuit breaker is mounted. The users should install the mounting screws, washers, and nuts; tighten the screws firmly. However, the torque should not exceed 28 pounds on an inch. After attaching the Eaton FD3150 circuit breaker, connect the line and load terminals and accessory leads, then check all the mounting hardware and terminal connecting devices for the correct torque loading.
