The FD3080 is a complete molded circuit breaker that belongs to Eaton‘s C Series. This 3-pole device, which has a current rating of 80 Amps, is suitable for use in numerous industrial needs. It can be conveniently used in panelboards, busways, switchboards, and motor center applications. The FD3080 has proven user acceptance and it exceeds North American standards. Plus, it is available for systems with load ratings of up to 600 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz or 250 Volts DC. This Eaton circuit breaker also has a standard interrupting capacity of 40 degrees Celsius, and a bolt-on feature complete with an instantaneous trip as well as non-interchangeable trip functions. Housed in a molded case, the device is also equipped with thermal magnetic and load side lug terminals.
The FD3080 also comes with an interrupting rating of 65 kiloamps at 240 Volts AC, 35 kiloamps at 480 Volts AC, 18 kiloamps at 600 Volts AC, and 10 kiloamps at 250 Volts DC. It is designed to offer optimal circuit protection for overloads. This F-Frame Eaton Cutler-Hammer Westinghouse circuit breaker is HACR-rated and it is suitable for high-intensity discharge (HID) use. Besides, all circuit breakers belonging to this series are convenient for reverse feed use. Having been on the market for the past twenty years, this product provides a lasting solution for all of its users’ application needs. Plus, it is extremely efficient and cost-effective. In addition to the instantaneous function, there is also an LI-Long-Time function that makes the FD3080 more powerful and reliable. It is outfitted with standard load terminals and its current ratings can go as high as 2500 Amps.
