The FD3045 is an authentic Cutler-Hammer circuit breaker that comes with a current range of between 15 and 2,500 Amps. This high-speed based ”blow-open” action circuit breaker can protect systems which are rated at 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. The FD3045, which belongs to the C Series, comes with a molded case for extra safety. The FD3045 circuit breaker’s current rating is 2500 Amps and its outperform calculations that are listed in the IEEE standards. Designed to offer safety to OEMs electrical and machinery, this proven circuit breaker features the latest innovations and it is highly reliable. The FD3045 has 3 poles and a bolt-on type of connection. The module weighs 4 pounds and it measures 4.9 by 5.1 by 7.4 inches. This molded case electronic gadget is outfitted with an F-frame and a complete breaker. To optimize its performance, the FD3045 is equipped with a fixed thermal and magnetic trip. This makes it highly reliable in almost all industrial applications—including those regarded as very demanding.
This circuit breaker, which has load side-based lug terminals for extra protection and a completely non-interchangeable trip, can operate at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hertz. The module should be operated at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Other important features of the FD3045 include a long-time function, an instantaneous function, and a thermal magnetic trip.
