The FD3020 is a circuit breaker that is designed and manufactured by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer Company. It belongs to Series C of the Eaton Cutler Hammer circuit breakers. It comes with a 20 Amps current rating. It is a 3-pole device with a DIN rail circuit breaker mounting option. It has a voltage rating of 250 Volts DC and one of 600 Volts AC. It draws power from a wired electric source and it weighs 4.1 pounds. It has an operating frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. It has a NEMA F-frame molded case enclosure. The FD3020 circuit breaker only comes with load terminals.
The FD3020 is mainly used for motor control centers, busway applications, panelboards, and switchboards. It is 3.38 inches in length, 4.13 inches in height, and 4.13 inches in width. It has an interrupt rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and one of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. It has an ON/OFF switch with different indicators. The indicators will turn red when the breaker is ON, white when it is in the trip mode, and green when it is switched off. There is a “push to trip” button present in the circuit breaker which is used to check the tripping function and which is used over time to check the operating mechanism. The FD3020 comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of installation or 18 months warranty from the date of the shipment; which occurs first. Before placing the circuit breaker in an electrical system, it is absolutely necessary to check that there is no voltage present in the environment.
