The FD2150K Molded Case Switch is 2-poled and it comes with 150 Trip Amps. It is manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer, and this module is outfitted with a bolt-on connection feature and offers a high interrupting capacity of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC or of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. It comes complete with a non-adjustable trip unit, a non-automatic switch, and load side lug terminals. However, it is important to note that this F Frame molded case switch provides no overcurrent protection. In addition, the FD2150K is HACR rated and it is suitable for high-intensity discharge use. It provides excellent branch circuit protection in numerous industrial applications, including panelboards, busways, switchboards, and motor control applications. The module is available for systems featuring up to 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC with maximum current ratings of 2500 Amps.

Typically, the FD2150K is designed to close and interrupt a circuit between isolated contacts under normal or abnormal conditions. The module comes as an integral unit housed in a high-quality insulating material. It opens and closes a circuit through non-automatic means. When operated within its appropriate rating, the FD2150K opens the circuit automatically without damage to itself and the operator. This great design feature enables the FD2150K molded case circuit breaker to offer optimal overload protection to conductors and dependable circuit protection to motors as well as motor starters.
