The FD2125 Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breaker by Eaton Cutler Hammer is an “F” Frame design circuit breaker in the Series C family of general purpose circuit breakers, designed to provide all-around protection from short-circuiting and overload. This device consists of a thermal-magnetic circuit contact, designed to provide fast-acting trip action in the event of an overload or short-circuit, and an effective mechanical operating mechanism which provides means of operating the breakers contacts (opening and closing). The FD2125 has a nominal current rating of 125 Amps, with 35 KAIC (Kilo Ampere Interrupting Capacity) maximum interrupt rating at 480 Volt AC, and it is designed for 600 Volt AC applications or 25 Volt DC applications. It has a 2-pole design suitable for single phase wiring, and it comes with only load end terminal (Copper/Aluminium) which confers easily and quick field wiring.
The FD2125 trip unit like all thermal-magnetic circuit breakers trip units is closed to any adjustment, preventing any error human error, and its unique design makes it suitable for reverse feed use. It has a working temperature limit of 40 degree Celsius, and above this limit, the carrying current begins to derate. It is suitable for an environment with non-corrosive and non-condensing relative humidity range of 0 to 95% and it can be used at a height not greater than 6000 feet without de-rating. The FD2125 has an average shipping weight of 1.4 Kilograms (3.0 Pounds), with an average volume of 70 x 152.4 x 86 millimeters (2.75 x 6.0 x 3.38 inches), and it is designed to conform with the AS (Australian Standard), BS (British Standard), IEC, UL, and SEV (Swiss Electro-Technical Association).
