The Eaton Cutler-Hammer FD2025 Series C Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a solid state circuit breaker with a thermal-magnetic trip unit used for overloads and short-circuits protection in many low voltage applications. The FD2025 is a member of the Series C Frame F family of completely assembled circuit breakers, with 2-pole wiring, and load side only terminals for easy field wiring. It is rated 600 Volt AC rated, and it offers a maximum interrupting capacity of 35 KAIC at 480 Volt AC. The FD2025 has a nominal current rating of 25 Ampere, suitable for High-Intensity Discharge applications, and it is rated for HACR (Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigerating) and reverse feed use. The FD2025 breaker assembly is comprised of an FD frame, 2 load side terminals and terminal covers, a non-interchangeable trip unit, and a trip free operating mechanism. It trip unit consist of fixed thermal and magnetic trip elements which provide fast-acting and instantaneous trip action through the electromagnet and a bimetal element. The FD2025 (quick make/break) Circuit Breaker is designed to prevent breakers contact from closing in the event of an abnormal current condition, and it also indicates breakers position. The FD2025 has a load side only Copper/Aluminium steel terminal with an average area of 2.5 by 4 millimeters squared and is protected against wear through factory supplied terminal cover. It has a 40 degree Celsius operational temperature limit and can be recalibrated for a higher ambient temperature depending on application needs. The FD2025 has an approximate shipping weight of 1.40 kilograms, with a dimension of 70.0 x 152.4 x 86.0 millimeters, and is CSA, IEC, and UL certified.
