The FD1070 is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the FD type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker has 70 Amps of current rating, 1-phase power, a single pole, 347 Volts AC, 125 Volts DC, 35 kAIC at 277 Volts AC, and 18 kAIC at 347 Volts AC. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is contained in a Frame F enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker consists of an alarm lockout that operates when the Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is tripped by an overcurrent, an undervoltage release, a short circuit, or a shunt trip. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is equipped with an auxiliary switch for providing signal and control functions. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is configured with a shunt trip design for tripping the circuit breaker remotely.

The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is configured with 2 alarm contacts that are externally wired and designed to indicate remotely. The Cutler-Hammer FD1070 circuit breaker is also equipped with the Arcflash Reduction Maintenance System that integrates into the electronic trip systems, enhancing safety by offering a sustainable and simplified means of reducing error correcting time. The Arcflash Reduction Maintenance System uses analog trip that is separated from the system for providing quicker interruption times than the digital instantaneous protection times.
