The EHD3090 circuit breaker is manufactured by Eaton. The circuit breaker is engineered under the C Series. The circuit breaker is in the molded case subcategory and an EHD circuit protector type with an F-frame. The EHD3090 comes with a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz and it is a complete breaker with load side terminals. The EHD3090 also features a current rating of 90 Amps and it is a fixed thermal trip type circuit protector with fixed magnetic trip type option. The maximum voltage for the EHD3090 is 250 Volts DC or 480 Volts AC. All the Eaton circuit breakers that feature the F-frame are HACR rated and come as suitable circuit breakers for the HID (high-intensity discharge) with a good capability for handling overturn feed use. This module is also a non-reversible circuit protector featuring a thermal-magnetic capability and it is used on DC appliances. The EHD3090 features a time constant of 8 milliseconds minimum at 22 kA and 3 milliseconds to the minimum at 10 kA. During installation of the EHD3090, it is highly recommended that the installer perform a basic inspection to make sure the EHD3090 is suitable for use in the intended application.
