The EHD2045 is a Series C complete molded case circuit breaker with 45 Amps of current rating manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This device is designed for industrial, commercial and OEM applications that need overcurrent protection. It is characterized by an easy installation process and high quality. The Eaton Corporation has manufactured molded case circuit breakers that are installed and used in almost every industrial field, and these devices face the most demanding industrial conditions day after day. The Eaton EHD2045 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker that is suitable for high-intensity discharge. Its interrupting rating is 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC which is the highest voltage that can be applied to this module. The device can also work with DC voltages of up to 250 Volts DC. It supports field-installable internal accessories, like shunt trip modules and auxiliary contacts for modularity and reduced inventory.
The Eaton EHD2045 is designed as a 2-pole molded case circuit breaker with a movable handle and with a push-to-trip mechanism. With these 2 parts, users can operate the device manually. The device is delivered inside of an F frame plastic housing. It features dimensions of 3.4 inches by 2.7 inches by 6.0 inches (86 millimeters by 70 millimeters by 152 millimeters). The item is employed in load centers, switchboards, panelboards, and meter centers. The EHD2045 is shipped with terminals on the load side only. At the factory, this circuit breaker is calibrated at 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperatures. Note that operation at higher temperatures than this one is possible, but it will require derating.
