The EHD1040 is an authentic Eaton circuit breaker that comes with an F-frame and a fixed magnetic trip. This single-pole type circuit breaker can operate at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz and a current of 40 Amps. The EHD1040’s important specifications include a voltage rating of 277 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC. The EHD1040 features a high-speed based "blow open" action and it is designed for electrical as well as machinery OEMs that are used in harsh industrial settings. It incorporates the latest technological innovation that addresses all circuit breaker issues. The EHD1040 is ideal for use with DC generators and mining applications. The module measures 2.1 by 4.5 by 6.6 inches, making it light and highly portable. Also, the EHD1040 molded case module weighs about 0.453592 kilograms and it features a load side and a powerful thermal controller.
The EHD1040 F-frame circuit breaker is HACR-rated and it is ideal for high-intensity discharge (abbreviated as HID) use. Plus, it can be used in reverse feed dependent applications. The interrupt rating of this circuit breaker is 14 kilo-Amps at 277 Volts AC. This Eaton Series C based single-pole circuit breaker comes with a load side type lug terminal connection and employs LI thermal-magnetic trips to optimize its performance. The EHD1040 is also capable of supporting bolt-on mounting—making installation easy and straightforward. The unit is outfitted with a bolt-on type of terminal connection, making is strong enough to withstand high levels of vibration.
