The circuit breaker with the catalog number EHD1025 comes from the circuit protection product line called Series C that is designed and manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. These circuit protection devices are marked as UL/CSA-only breakers and they are generally made for the domestic market, offering fewer of the options that are available for the most demanding applications. However, the Eaton branded circuit breakers from this series are offered in several different frames and with interrupting capacity/voltage ratings of 480 Volts at 100 kAIC or 600 Volts at 35 kAIC. The amperage rating of the EHD circuit breakers is within the 10 to 100 Amps range. The EHD1025 circuit breaker is used for the prevention of short circuits, current overloads, and similar irregularities that may appear within a complex industrial system that is made of many different electrical components that need to operate at the highest level.
The EHD1025 model has a molded case and it is designed with a NEMA F frame type or frame size. This circuit breaker, like other F frame circuit breakers from this series, is suitable for use in reverse feed applications. Also, since this is a 25 Amps model with a fixed thermal magnetic trip type, this circuit breaker is also adjusted for high-intensity discharge usage. Besides that, these circuit breakers are UL listed and HACR rated devices that are made according to certain regulations that are set for industrial applications.
