The EHD1010 molded case circuit breaker belongs to Series C of the circuit protection products by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. These high-quality circuit breakers, as well as other circuit protection solutions designed by Eaton, are in the top of their class and among the leading products of this kind on the market. The Series C devices target a domestic market and offer fewer options, but that does not mean that these exceptional circuit protection devices are not used for various applications. Even though they are offered with fewer options than Series G products which are intended for global usage, and these breakers can be incorporated into many different systems that require solid and a reliable protection from current irregularities and electrical hazards that could lead to equipment damage. What is even more important, these circuit protection devices will provide the necessary protection for the personnel operating the system, ensuring that the working environment is completely safe and secured. The Series C circuit breakers are made in different types with different frames and capabilities, ranging from 15 to 2500 Amps.
The EHD1010 molded case circuit breaker is manufactured in accordance with all of the relevant standards and it is listed by the UL standards. If the users look at the specifications for the EHD1010 model, they will see that this circuit breaker has an interrupting rating of 18 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and one of 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC and an amperage rating of 10 Amps. The operating frequency of this circuit breaker is 50 to 60 Hertz. Also, this complete breaker features load side terminals and fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit types. It is important to mention that the EHD1010 is a single-pole breaker variant with an F frame and with very small dimensions.
