The EDS3100 molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) from Series C is designed and manufactured by Eaton, a company that is one of the most famous producers of protective solutions, including products for power distribution, control, and monitoring. The extremely reliable Series C circuit breakers are used to maintain the needed level of power continuity without any disruption of power or unplanned downtime. The EDS3100 is a complete breaker that features an F frame and 3 poles. This model includes fixed thermal and magnetic trip units and an amperage rating of 100 Amps. Generally, the breakers from this series of products feature 100 to 225 Amps of continuous amperage at 40 degrees Celsius. This breaker operates on 240 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC, and its interrupting rating is 42 kAIC at 240 Volts AC. In addition to that, this component has load side terminals and a 50/60 Hertz frequency rating. The EDS3100 breaker is UL and CSA certified and it weighs 1.95 kilograms or 4.3 pounds. The dimensions of the breaker are 104.9 millimeters (4.13 inches) x 104.9 millimeters (4.13 inches) x 85.8 millimeters (3.38 inches).
